Rolex Black Limited Edition Watches

Legend says that Rolex, in the 60s, made a special edition of 500 black watches for the British soldiers who were in South Africa but the company never confirmed this. With this story in mind, designer Alejandro Alcocer, decided to reproduce these watches independently from rolex. He created a vintage black line made from a special bath using chemicals to give the effect. They are on sale at Barneys Department sotre but you can take a look at the collection at blackltdedition.com.
