Billr Me is a useful app created for helping you split a bill and calculate the tip at restaurants and bars. All you have to do is pick your party size, list the cost of each dish, set tax and tip amounts, you´re done! Whenever you go out to dinner or any other event with friends, there may the usual drama...splitting the bill. So why not make payments by tapping two phones? App developer Bump has just launched Bump Pay, an application that allows you to pay your friends just by tapping you iPhones! The app is very simple to use, first, the user enters the value you want to transfer to another person, that done, just touch the two phones (both must have the app) so that your debt is paid. Bump Pay is available only for iOS with PayPal as the payment system, but the company is already thinking about adding other payment methods to the application. Watch the video |

Paper is a new stunning app for the iPad. It was developed by Fifty Three design studio, they say the app is "the simplest, most beautiful way to create on the iPad", and from what we have seen... we must agree. The app works very much as a sketch book, you can capture your ideas as sketches, diagrams, illustrations, notes or drawings and instantly share them across the web. Paypal announced Paypal Here, a mobile payments solution for mobile devices for payments by credit card, similar to the Square, released in 2010 by the hands of Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter. The Paypal credit card reader allows small businesses to accept almost any form of payment, it will charge traders a fixed rate of 2.7% for every transaction made through the device. The service works with a free app available at the app store and is capable of sending invoices or accepting debit and credit cards, checks and PayPal. The system is available now for iPhone and will be available soon for Android. |

U.S. company Orbotix will begin selling by the end of the year a robotic ball with LED light connected via bluetooth and controlled with an app on your Android or iPhone as if it were a remote controlled car. Interesting new app was recently released by Square, the Square Card Case, an application aimed at consumers. It works with virtual business cards showing information on certain establishments, menu updates in real time, list of products and transaction history of a consumer in a particular establishment.
