Flying-car developer Terrafugia have presented the science fiction-esque TF-X, the practical realization of the dream of countless visions of the future. The spectacular flying plug-in hybrid will be able to take off and land vertically, carry four people in car-like comfort, cruise at speeds of up to 200 mph, and have a non-stop flight range of at least 500 miles. Terrafugia predicts it will take the average driver about five hours to learn how to fly a TF-X, you´ll be able to deploy the wings at the push of a button in a matter of seconds, and power the propellers to take off vertically just like a helicopter. A ducted fan then provides thrust. Unfortunately Terrafugia says the TF-X will be another 8-12 years in development. watch the video

To celebrate seven decades, and what will mark the end of the Defender production, Land Rover have presented the landmark "Defender 2,000,000”, a bespoke defender for the two-millionth production milestone. Land Rover invited an all-star cast including survival expert Bear Grylls to join the production line and help build this one-of-a-kind vehicle. The special edition anniversary model, features many distinctive finishing touches and will be sold at an exclusive Bonhams charity auction on 16 December, just before Defender production ends for good. watch the video

Renown auction house Bonhams have listed one special vehicle, a spectacular 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500. The iconic muscle car is in pristine condition and features early models inboard headlights and the desirable, and rare, four-speed manual gearbox, and was originally finished in Highland Green with white interior. Other noteworthy features include the 428ci (7.0-litre) V8 engine equipped with original twin Holley four-barrel carburettors, and the original push-button Ford radio. via

World renown classic car auction house RM Auctions, have presented the world’s most expensive car collection ever to be auctioned, appropriately named the "Pinnacle Portfolio”. Owned by an anonymous, absurdly rich, single individual, the impressive collection of 23 cars includes some of the greatest and most iconic European sports and racing cars of the 1950s and 1960s, plus some of the world’s most coveted modern super cars, making this an unprecedented rarity of automotive distinction. Amongst the collection are some rarities such as the first-production Bugatti Veyron, one of 20 Lamborghini Reventons ever made, and the penultimate road-going McLaren F1 ever built, and the last Ferrari Enzo (the previous owner being Pope John Paul II). After the jump are some of the incredible vehicles that will be offered in this auction, expected to net the owner over $65 million once each vehicle is individually sold.

German luxury car modification firm Mansory have picked up where AMG left off, and have improved upon the impressive design and build qualities of the original Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6. The impressive customization package includes a carbon fiber body kit, a redesigned front skirt with LED lights, and four new headlights mounted on the roof. The all-terrain beast has also had its engined tuned to 829 hp and 738 lb-ft, preparing it for even more terrain than ever before.

Icon is a Californian builder known for their custom jeeps and trucks, the latest gem to roll out of their workshop is this spectacular 1964 Power Wagon Crew Cab. Jonathan Ward, founder of ICON, and his team, worked their magic on this one-of-a-kind based off a Dodge MegaCab 4×4, equipping it with a Magnuson supercharger, a Kore-Fox Racing suspension and a Gibson exhaust coated in stainless steel. Inside you´ll find the beautiful seats adorned by premium leather, and all the modern high-tech upgrades including an iPad mini with Retina display, speakers from Focal and, amps by JL Audio. watch the video

Chevrolet have unveiled the sixth generation of their legendary Camaro sports car. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro builds on its predecessor´s design, and now features lower, slimmer proportions, broader shoulders and a fastback profile, while maintaining its trademark silhouette. The spectacular muscle car has its eyes set on Ford´s Mustang (also in its 6th generation), and also offers a four-cylinder turbocharged motor. The Camaro SS tops the range and is powered by an impressive 6.2L V8 engine with 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. Each engine can be had with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. You can also expect a great level of sophistication inside, with sculpted lines and finessed details, and features such as custom ambient lighting effects and high-def displays.

Shelby American have got their hands on a Ford Raptor and tuned it to perfection, taking the trucks performance to even greater heights. The "Baja 700" Raptor is a 700 horsepower beast based on the last generation SVT Raptor, it has been fitted with a Whipple supercharger atop the impressive 6.2-liter V-8 engine, along with bigger throttle bodies and injectors, a bigger heat exchanger, competition designed suspension, optional Rogue Racing front and rear bumpers, 18" custom wheels, and a thunderous Borla exhaust system. Naturally, its got the requisite Shelby striping and badging to go with it all, along with a skid plate and a reworked interior by Katzkin, plus a three-gauge dashboard pod.

Just 50 examples of the custom Baja 700 will be offered for $45,000, but you have to supply the base truck yourself.

They hand-build only a small volume of Broncos each year, using only the best, original Ford Bronco bodies, and top of the line components. In fact, their restorations are unlike any other, they include an original, early model body, an expertly refurbished frame, new custom paint, new suspension, new wheels and tires, new bumpers, new wiring harness, line-x protected tub, new interior, new emblems and trim, new seals, new lights, and new hardware holding it all together.

After working their magic on the spectacular Jeep Nighthawk and the menacing Jeep Full Metal Jacket, Starwood Motors have unveiled their latest Jeep Wrangler conversion, the Jeep Nomad. The extreme Jeep began as a Rubicon Unlimited, but has been converted into a trail rated and adventure ready vehicle, it has been fitted with a Smittybilt Overland rack that includes a top-mounted tent to keep you safe from elements and environment, full front and rear LED lighting, custom compartments in rear side windows for fuel / fresh water cans, a winch, a generator, and ARB portable fridge/freezer. Needless to say, no trail will be too tough for the Nomad. watch the video

This won´t be everybody´s cup of tea, but we love it! This is a collaboration between two of Britain´s most iconic design brands, fashion Designer Paul Smith and car manufacturer Land Rover. The bespoke Land Rover Defender features 27 different exterior colors, and uses a mix of leather and fabric for the seats, with contrasted stitching. A fitting tribute to one of the world´s best loved vehicles, that unfortunately will end production in December of this year. Enjoy the pictures after the jump.

Renown auto customizer Galpin Auto Sports have teamed up with automobile designer and founder of Fisker Automotive Henrik Fisker, for the ultimate American muscle car, the spectacular Ford Mustang Rocket, a 725hp super mustang!  "The Rocket" is a limited production, and will feature a carbon fiber body, 21 inch wheels, a fully adjustable suspension, and Brembo brakes. Jeremy Bergh and his team at Alu-Cab wanted to build the ultimate overlander, and we must agree, the Icarus Defender is undoubtedly a very impressive vehicle. It accommodates two people comfortably without compromising on storage space, it was fitted with a built-in tent that opens in seconds and is accessed from inside the camper, a fold-away stove, bright Lumeno lights inside and outside, all individually controlled, and an outside kitchen storage with pots, pan, cups and plates easily accessible and securely stored.
