Dry Drill is a new concept from Portugal you can customize a bicycle according to your taste and style. It is all done on their website with the help of an intuitive and user-friendly interface, you can choose from 3 models - urban, vintage or relax, and match your frame and wheel choice with a variety of colors. At the moment they donīt sell the complete bicycle, you can only choose your personalized frame and wheels. Dry Drill is the alternative for those who love essential design and are looking for a customizable, hand-made, high-quality product that looks like no one else.

The MAKO Bike Tool, will probably be the best, and only bicycle tool you will ever need. Made of Aerospace Titanium the tool is lightweight and compact, it weighs only 19 grams and with the neoprene s holds four 1/4" driver bits of your choice. It features 5 metric box wrench sizes(8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 15mm, and 16mm), and 2 spoke wrench sizes(14G and 15G). The tool also boasts a bottle opener for the occasional "road soda".

We donīt normally post prototypes, but occasionally, if we find something really special we have to feature it. Designer Dom Hargreaves entered the James Dyson Award to try and gain funding to take this folding bike forward. Most folding bikes are not as compact as this bike when folded, the Contortionist folds completely into the space of the wheels 26in circumference, and leaves a nice little pull handle for you to drag the bike around. The bike didnīt go into production, but, elements of innovation within the design are now being developed into production bikes with an undisclosed manufacturer. Watch the video

Mixie Urban Commuter Bike is small, lightweight and easy to tuck away in the small spaces of a cramped apartment. The bike is part fixed-gear, part Urban commuter, part BMX. It weighs under 33lbs, thanks to the light 20" high tensile steel frame, making it easy to store and lug around.

Online clothing boutique Need Supply have teamed up with Carytown Bike Company for this exclusive, very stylish city bike. The bike has a minimal look, but it took months of talks, planning, color schemes and frame ions to come up with the final result. The bike features some great details, a leather Regal saddle, Continental Sport tyres, and a sleek leather tape handlebar.

One of our favorite features over the past year has been on Derringer Cycles, we have done a couple of posts before: Derringer Cycles, Derringer Bespoke Collection. Today we feature a collaboration of Derringer and Restoration Hardware, this exclusive model is painted with Restoration Hardwareīs signature shade of grey, and has Kevlar-reinforced racing tires and a black leather saddle with copper rivets, making it a very cool looking ride.

Another awesome custom by Vanguard, this time an early 1980īs Colnago CT-1. The bike is in beautiful used condition re-lives the glory days of Italian owned and made craftsmanship. The Colnago CT is stripped down to its essentials and custom built with Nitto handlebar, inverse brake levers, Campagnolo Eurus wheelset and its original Ultegra groupset.

The Sportsman Flyer Company started not as a business, but as a hobby. Pat Dolan has built and collected cars and bicycles for years and has always wanted to add a motorized bicycle to his collection. He decided to build one, so he developed a series of vintage style parts not available any else. Here we feature one of his creations, the stunning the Racer Model.

Local is the name of the new bike from Yves Beharīs design studio Fuseproject in San Francisco, USA. It is actually a tricycle: it has two front wheels - with a platform between the two, it is possible to transport shopping, sports equipment and even children and pets, ensures Behar. Local Bike emerged after several months of searching for a mode of transport that is perfect for daily tasks in the neighborhood. The bike was initially a prototype, but will become reality through the partnership with local firm Sycip.

The tiny removable lights are very easy to apply, the square plastic case has an oversized rubber button and a groove for the attaching elastic cord. It features 3 flashing modes and is available in yellow, green, blue or black.

The hybrid bike from Smart, which was presented at the Paris Salon of 2010, will be launched in the first half of 2012. The model is hybrid, it uses an electric motor in conjunction with muscle strength, which generates power in cycling. With more than 400 Wh,the battery can last more than 38 miles. The bike also has interaction with smart phones and was developed in partnership with the German manufacturer Grace, creators of the amazing Grace Urban-bike. Watch the video
