The new bike by Rungu is the first all fat-tire bullfrog trike. The bike features three huge, soft tires allowing it to "float" over snow and sand, in fact the company states that this system improves floating over these surfaces by 50% compared to regular fat bikes. The Trike is perfect for transporting surfboards across the sand or pulling stuff across the snow, it can also reportedly climb up short flights of steps with ease and overcome obstacles up to 6” tall at crawl speed. via watch the video

Two models are available, the Juggernaut($2.500): features fat 26 x 4.7-inch tires and is intended for sand and snow, and the Kilimanjaro($2.600): features a rear fat tire and two skinnier 29 x 2.5-inch tires in the front, and is intended for use on the road or hard-packed dirt.

Chinese automotive manufacturing company Qoros have presented at the Geneva Motor Show their new futuristic electric bike, the Qoros eBIQE Concept. eBIQE is a mountain bike styled concept, perfect for commuting, leisurely rides or off-road adventures. Riders can choose from three cycling modes, pedaling with no assistance, pedaling with assistance from the electric motor, or choose motor-power only, allowing a top speed of 65 km/h (40 mph), and a range of 75-miles. The Tech advanced bike features a fingerprint recognition system, with the ability to recognize multiple users and is equipped with a five-inch touchscreen always connected via 3G to the internet, displaying route planning, intelligent navigation, social networking and your bike´s condition including tyre pressure, battery charge and range, plus a bunch of other stuff.

The device is mounted on your bike and links to your smartphone via Bluetooth using the included app, you can then program your route and CycleNav indicates the way by using voice commands and  turn signals, great for paying attention to the road, instead of staring at a phone. In addition, the smart bike navigator app keeps track of statistics including distance traveled, length and calories burned.
