Plastic Cell is a brand created by two talented brothers from California, they make these miniature sculptures of cult film/tv characters and musicians. Their unique and inspiring products are a collectors dream, each limited edition 5-inch piece is made with silicone rubber and painstakingly hand-painted with acrylic using a variety of techniques, no two piece will ever look exactly alike. Some of the hyper-realistic miniature sculptures include Hannibal Lecter, Freddy Krueger, Stormtrooper, Hellboy, Dexter, Jesse Pinkman or Heisenberg. Our two favorites Tupac and Biggie Smalls are unfortunately sold out.

Batman fanatics rejoice! Lego have announced that Batman´s coolest vehicle will be available in their Ultimate Collectors Series range. The Lego Tumbler Vehicle is a 1,869-piece set of the popular Batmobile from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, and comes complete with Batman(Christian Bale) and the Joker(Heath Ledger) mini-figs. The set will be available for purchase  from September at Lego stores and their online store.

Lego have announced today the set of 16 Simpsons minifigures featuring most of the popular characters from the cult series. Lego had previously released the Simpsons House Set that includes 6 minifigures, but now you will be able to purchase all 16 minifigures from Homer Simpson to Krusty the Clown to Itchy and Scratchy.

The figures will be available in May for $4 each, from Lego and from Amazon.

After creating a web frenzy at the beginning of the week with some leaked photos, Lego have officially announced the Simpsons Lego Set. To celebrate the beloved animated series´ 25th anniversary, Lego have teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox to create a limited-edition construction set that includes the Simpsons iconic Springfield home, and a line of 16 mini-figures of popular characters from the series. The house kit will be available at the beginning of February for $199.99, the mini-figures will retail for $3.99 per character.

Daft Punk are definitely back, after some time out of the public eye working on a new album, the French duo are back with several successful collaborations and popular tunes. The hype surrounding them is amazing, and now, if you´re a hard core fan you´ll be excited to know of the release of their action figures later this year. Over the last couple of years we have featured some remarkable collectible figures, mostly they have been action figures, this time we showcase something truly special, a hyper realistic 1:6 scale action figure of basketball legend Michael Jordan! The limited edition, lifelike action figure is available from high-end figurine manufacturer Enterbay. Sometime ago last year, we did a feature on Yum Yum´s wonderful toy collection, at the time they were still in concept stage but are now available for purchase! Their first collection is named "Toy Series One", and features characters such as "Granny" "Popcorn" or "Zombie". The fun little collectable toy characters are made from soft Vinyl and can be ordered from Yum Yum´s online store.

To celebrate the launch of the highly expected movie, Hot Toys have released a new impressive hyper realistic collectible figure. The Batman/ Bruce Wayne collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Christian Bale in the movie, with detailed wrinkles and amazing realistic skin texture. The 1/6th scale figure features: PERS(Parallel Eyeball Rolling System), a specially made fabric costume with armor, and includes all Batmans weapons and accessories. Another gem from Hot Toys, for all you fanatic action figure fans, this is surely a must have. Sometime ago we featured another of their superb creations, the Batman hyper realistic collectible figure. Yesterday Hot Toys presented the new 1/6th scale DX T-800 collectible figure from the Terminator 2- Judgment Day movie. The advanced T-800 collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt with the most updated sculpting technique and with Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS), detachable scalp and cyberdyne chip in the head, advanced muscular body, authentic leather jacket and pants, detailed weapons and accessories. The figure has a highly detailed face with wrinkles and amazing realistic skin texture.

The hyper realistic collectible figure of the legendary Steve Jobs is set to start shipping worldwide on late Feb. 2012.
