Manufacturer of electronic accessories PlayJam announced the release of a new portable video game console that runs games from the Android mobile platform. Named GameStick, the device is the size of a pen drive and connects to the HDMI input on a TV , you then use a wireless gamepad to control games. The GameStick uses no wires to connect to your tv or power outlet, another strong point is the price of the games, which start at $ 0.99. PlayJam expect to launch the Gamestick in April if they reach their $100,000 goal on kickstarter, judging by the amount already pledged, the low-cost gaming console should become available. Sony has unveiled a smaller, lighter PS3 model. The new version of the popular console will be available in two different models, with 250GB and 500GB HDDs, it is approximately 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the current PS3. The new super slim PS3 will be available from September 25, just in time for Christmas. A little disappointing for those expecting a PS4, but still a must have. |
