We recently came across these cool candleholders by one of our favorite home decor brands, Scandinavian Menu. They were designed by Pernille Vea, she was inspired by candleholders made by the Vikings many years ago. Made of cast iron the Pipe Candleholder can be hammered into anything, like a nail in a plank, and are perfect to set a creative mood. Drive the holder into a tree trunk or wooden beam outdoors, or into a piece of firewood indoors.

Every once in awhile we come across something original and fun for the kids(remember the popular Astronaut diver cover?), we recently found these cool color-in wallpaper by Burgerplex, you can color in the artwork using marker pens, felt tips or paint. Stack is a line of stoves born from a cooperation between La Castellamonte and Adriano Design. Stack Stoves feature the ancient tradition of ceramic stoves but with contemporary shapes. We were contacted by Tim Jarosz, a professional photographer and graphic designer from Chicago, he creates wonderful artwork highlighting urban "cityscapes" from digitally collaged photograph illustrations. Mr Perswall are a English company that make awesome wallpapers, if you have a wallpaper idea, they will give it an extra dimension. A great example of their work is the "Library Wallpaper", it has great details, great colors, and the depth of the shelves looks very real.

The Melting Clock is inspired by the famous Dali painting "The Persistence of Memory", the well-known surrealist painting introduced the image of the soft melting pocket watch. The clock was designed to be used on a shelf or hanging on your office desk. Although awkward, it is balanced as a common clock and its mechanisms work perfectly. A cool gift idea!
