TransTurbine Jet Car

Renown auction website "Bring a Trailer" have listed one special vehicle. This street rail was commissioned by the current owner in 2016 and completed by TransTurbine in 2018. It features a tubular steel sand rail chassis powered by a Boeing T50-BO-8A gas turbine helicopter engine (rated at 300 horsepower) paired with a Volkswagen four-speed manual transaxle with a billet reinforced case. The chassis is powder-coated gray with black and orange accents and is fitted with twin Sparco racing seats. Additional features include four-wheel disc brakes, a fully independent suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, a Derale external oil cooler with an auxiliary cooling fan, a 24-volt electrical system, an adjustable pedal assembly, a removable roof, rear wing, side panels, and a custom jet-coated dual exhaust. watch the video below
