DJI Mavic Mini
DJI have introduced their smallest and lightest folding-drone ever, the smartphone-sized Mavic Mini. The palm-sized Mavic Mini can fly for up to 30 minutes, has a maximum range of 4km (roughly 2.5 miles) and is so small, it doesn’t require FAA registration. Weighing only 249 grams, the compact drone comes with a new camera that records 2.7K video, which is about 40 percent higher resolution than full HD but not quite as much as 4K. For stills, it can do 12 megapixels courtesy of a 1/2.3-inch sensor, all mounted on a three-axis motorized gimbal. Despite its small size, the Mavic Mini comes with multiple operation modes found on larger drones, such as the ability to circle the camera’s subject, spiral away from the subject, and fly backward and upward away from the subject. watch the video below
