Designed by Los Angeles based architects Marmol Radziner and Associates, the Vienna Way Residence is located in Venice, California. Floor to ceiling glazing and connected outdoor living spaces seamlessly integrate the home with the California native landscape. The pool in the center of the outdoor courtyard visually unites the building forms.

Another gem by one of our favorite Architecture studios. Victoria 73 is a stunning property designed by South African Architects SAOTA(Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects). The house was designed for a family in the city of Cape Town, South Africa. The Architects created an environment so the family can enjoy an outdoor lifestyle. The house is on a cliff, but protected from prevailing winds and enjoys spectacular sea views over Bantry Bay.

The Tensile Stingray Tent is now available for purchase! We did a popular feature last year when this was still in concept stage. It is kind of a portable tree house, combining the comfort and versatility of a hammock with the comfort and security of a tent. The environmentally friendly recycled container comfortably sleeps two adults and two children,  and has the versatility of creating rooms within the large open living space : includes bunk beds, double bed room, dressing room, kitchen and bathroom. Fincube is a project by Berlin based Architecture company "Studio Aisslinger". The concept is a modular, sustainable & transportable low-energy house. The example created is a 47sq m residence, 1200m above sea level near Bozen in Northern Italy, with a beautiful view of the famous Dolomite mountains. It is made mostly with local materials and is energy efficient. The idea of the concept is a sustainable nomadic house, meaning it can be easily disassembled, transported and quickly rebuilt on a new site.

This breathtaking work of architecture was named the House and Garden building, it is in Tokyo and was designed by visionary Japanese architect Ryue Nishizawa. The building is an unusual sight in Tokyo and believe it or not, it is a private residence! The house has no facade and no interior walls, instead, there are floor-to-ceiling windows, curtains and an array of plants that define boundaries between spaces. The four-story house is only 26ft x 13ft and is wedged between two taller buildings. The unique home also features a spiral steel staircase running up the whole building and connecting each level. The Architect says: "You really get the fell of living in a hanging garden". source
