BSA Adventure Bike
The BSA Thunderbolt marks the brand’s official entry into the adventure segment, blending heritage design with modern rider technology. Inspired by the original Thunderbolt that rolled out of Birmingham in 1972, this new generation model reinterprets the name for riders who split their time between city streets and gravel tracks.
Powered by a Euro 5 plus compliant 334cc liquid cooled DOHC single cylinder engine, the Thunderbolt pairs usable torque with a six speed gearbox and a generous 15.5 litre fuel tank for extended range. It is designed to handle weekday commuting and weekend exploration with equal confidence. Traction control and three ABS modes including Rain, Road and Off Road give riders added control across changing surfaces.
The chassis is built for versatility. Upside down forks and a preload adjustable mono rear shock manage uneven terrain, while a slip and assist clutch improves comfort in traffic and on technical trails. High ground clearance, a reinforced bash plate and an integrated exoskeleton frame add protection when the ride gets rough.
Ergonomics have not been overlooked. An adjustable windscreen and instrument console, wide handlebars and a low seat height contribute to easy manoeuvrability. Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation and USB charging bring modern convenience into the cockpit.
