Audi keeps making wagons when almost nobody else will, and the 2027 A6 Allroad is the strongest argument yet for why they should. Based on the sixth generation A6 that launched in 2026, the new Allroad takes the standard A6 Avant sold in Europe and makes it wider, taller, and significantly more aggressive. It is confirmed for the US market in 2027.The proportions are the story. The Allroad is 4.3 inches wider than the A6 Avant and 3.3 inches wider than the outgoing Allroad, achieved through different sheetmetal rather than just plastic cladding over the wheel arches. Functional vertical air vents sit behind the front wheels to emphasize the width. An Allroad specific grille pattern, reworked front and rear bumpers, serrated rocker panel trim, and black roof rails complete an exterior presence that feels closer to the RS6 Avant than to a standard wagon. The wide body treatment has already sparked speculation that the next RS6 will push these proportions even further.Adaptive air suspension raises ground clearance by 1.3 inches in normal driving modes. Offroad and Offroad Plus add another 0.6 inches on top of that, giving a total adjustment range of 2.2 inches. Wheels are offered in 19, 20, and 21 inch sizes on wider rims than before for a larger tire contact patch. The steering system has been stiffened at every point between the wheel and the tires for more direct feedback, and four wheel steering is available for tighter maneuvering both on road and off. Quattro all wheel drive is standard. The US powertrain is expected to be Audi's turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 producing 362 horsepower and 406 lb ft of torque, paired with a seven speed dual clutch automatic. European models offer a plug in hybrid with a 2.0 liter turbo four making 361 horsepower with around 60 miles of electric range, and a 3.0 liter turbodiesel V6 with 294 horsepower. Neither is expected to reach the US.Inside, the cabin matches the A6 sedan with a freestanding panoramic OLED display combining an 11.9 inch digital gauge cluster, a 14.5 inch central touchscreen, and an optional 10.9 inch passenger display. Sport seats with ventilation and massage are available. Four zone climate control and improved acoustic insulation with optional acoustic glazing on the side glass keep the cabin quiet at speed. The infotainment system includes off road data readouts for pitch and roll angles.Cargo space behind the power operated tailgate is expected to improve slightly over the outgoing model's 30 cubic feet standard and 69.5 cubic feet with the 40/20/40 split folding rear seats down. Rails, anchors, and tensioning straps are available for load management. The wagon market in the US is nearly extinct. Audi bringing the A6 Allroad to America in this form, wider, more capable, and better looking than the model it replaces, is a commitment to a body style that most manufacturers have abandoned entirely.

The original Freehiker put Boost foam from running shoes into a hiking boot and helped launch the gorpcore wave in 2019. Six years and two generations later, Adidas is raiding its running lab again, but this time the technology it borrowed is more ambitious. The Freehiker 3 Ultra GTX replaces Boost with a dual midsole combining Hyperboost Pro and Dreamstrike+ cushioning, the same foam stack found in Adidas road racing shoes. The result is a 43mm heel stack that sits squarely in marathon super shoe territory, yet each shoe weighs just 354 grams. For a GORE-TEX mid with this much cushion underfoot, that weight is genuinely impressive. The ride is designed to feel soft without collapsing laterally, giving you energy return on flat approaches and stability when the terrain breaks up.Waterproofing comes from a full GORE-TEX membrane across the entire range. Adidas has streamlined the lineup by dropping the non-GTX option entirely, which simplifies the choice without removing the feature most hikers actually want. The sock fit collar wraps the ankle and seals out dust and grit, a detail that matters more on multi day hikes than it does on a morning walk. Speed lacing cinches everything down in one pull and is exclusive to the Ultra, the top tier model in the new three shoe Freehiker 3 family. The Continental rubber outsole returns for grip across wet and dry surfaces. The upper has been reworked to be more flexible than the Freehiker 2 while maintaining the same level of structure and protection. The overall build is lighter and more nimble than its predecessor without sacrificing anything that made the franchise work in the first place. The Freehiker 3 comes in three versions. The Low at $180 for day hikes and travel. The Mid for ankle support and general trail use. And the Ultra at $220 for backpacking and more demanding terrain, with the higher collar, speed lacing, and the most complete feature set in the range. All three share the same Continental outsole and GORE-TEX construction.
Adidas helped popularize the idea that hiking shoes could feel like sneakers. The Freehiker 3 Ultra pushes that further by making them feel like racing shoes that happen to handle dirt.

Most portable speakers do one thing. The Muzen Wild Mini 3.0 does five. It is a Bluetooth speaker, an FM radio, a power bank, a flashlight, and an emergency tool, all inside a full metal zinc alloy body that fits in your palm and looks like it was pulled from a military surplus catalogue. The sound punches above the size. A large diameter driver with a rare earth N40 NdFeB magnet delivers clear highs and resonant bass that fills an outdoor space without distortion. Bluetooth 5.3 connects in under 3 seconds with stable signal up to 33 feet. When Bluetooth isn't an option, the built in FM radio with a high sensitivity tuner and metal antenna picks up local stations for music, news, and weather updates even in remote areas. No signal, no streaming, no problem. The 1900mAh battery runs up to 15 hours of continuous playback at two thirds volume. When your phone dies before the speaker does, reverse charging turns the Wild Mini into an emergency power bank. It is not designed to fully charge a phone, but it keeps you connected when it matters. The built in flashlight runs three modes: strong, weak, and SOS for emergencies after dark.IPX5 waterproofing handles rain, splashes, sweat, and sand. The full metal unibody construction is drop resistant and built for environments that would crack a plastic speaker on day one. Textured knobs provide precise volume and tuning control even with wet or gloved hands.A speaker that handles a hiking trip, a workshop session, a beach day, and a power outage without needing anything else. That kind of versatility in something this small is hard to find.

The car coat has always been one of the most useful outerwear silhouettes for city life. Long enough to cover a blazer, short enough to move freely, structured enough to look intentional over almost anything. The Scandinavian Edition Key II takes that foundation and builds it with technical materials that most car coats never bother with. The fabric is 100 percent wind and waterproof with fully seam sealed construction throughout. That puts it in the same weather protection category as a hardshell outdoor jacket, but the cut and tailoring keep it firmly in formal everyday territory. No pit zips, no drawcords, no storm flaps. Just a clean, structured silhouette that handles rain and wind without announcing itself as technical outerwear. The build is uninsulated and lightweight, which is a deliberate choice rather than a compromise. It layers cleanly over a suit jacket in autumn or a heavyweight knit in winter without adding bulk or breaking the line. Breathable construction keeps it comfortable through a full day of wear across different temperatures and interiors. From early spring through late autumn, the Key II adapts to the season based on what you wear underneath rather than what is built into the coat itself.
Available in several colors. The kind of coat that works every day without requiring a decision about whether the weather justifies wearing it.

PVS proved what was possible with the 70 Series when they built the LC76 Urnieta Ultimate Wagon. The LC70 Urnieta Pickup takes that same philosophy and applies it to the platform that arguably needed it more. The 70 Series pickup is the workhorse of the LandCruiser lineup, built for farms, mines, and remote stations. PVS treats it like something worth finishing properly. The exterior runs the full Urnieta catalogue, engineered for the entire 70 Series range covering the LC79, LC76, LC78, and LC71 with bolt on fitment and zero compromise on build quality. Every weld and every bracket is designed to take a beating on tracks that break lesser equipment. The front bumper, side steps, roof platform, forged wheels, and tray accessories bring the same cohesive design language that made the LC76 wagon build read as a single idea rather than a parts catalogue. That cross platform compatibility is significant. Whether you run a dual cab 79, a wagon 76, a troopy 78, or a short wheelbase 71, the Urnieta kit fits without modification. XPEL self healing PPF wraps the exterior, protecting the finish from day one across every panel.Inside, PVS applies the same bespoke interior treatment that defined the wagon build. Japanese spec Recaro Cross Sportster GK100 seats trimmed in Alcantara 9055 replace the factory items. The dash, roof lining, and door cards are retrimmed in matching Alcantara with orange stitching and carbon details throughout. A custom carbon steering wheel, carbon air vent rings, and navy plush pile carpet transform the cab from utilitarian to something closer to a coach built special. The PVS 9 inch MK4 headunit handles infotainment and navigation. The Urnieta roof rack deserves attention on its own. Built from high strength stainless steel and aluminum magnesium alloy, it is overbuilt by design. It mounts to the cab and carries whatever you need across terrain that tests every fastener. It looks as good in the studio as it performs on the trail, which is the entire PVS approach in a single component.PVS Automotive has operated out of Sydney since 2008, evolving from auto electrical work into Australia's premium LandCruiser specialist. They serve dealerships and manufacturers as much as individual owners, and that background shows in the build quality. The LC70 Urnieta Pickup is the next chapter in a bespoke program that continues to prove the 70 Series platform has no ceiling when the right people work on it.

Danner has been making boots in Portland since 1932. The N45 Mid GTX is the kind of product that shows what happens when a heritage boot maker applies that experience to a modern lightweight hiker. It looks like a trail runner, protects like a boot, and can be rebuilt when the outsole wears through. The waterproofing comes from GORE-TEX Invisible Fit construction, which bonds the membrane directly to the upper material rather than using a separate bootie liner. The result is a lighter, more breathable build that fits closer to the foot and feels more like a sneaker than a traditional waterproof boot. The upper itself is a lightweight abrasion resistant nylon and polyester mesh with a PU coated leather rand at the base for durability where the boot meets rocks and roots. Underfoot, the EnduroFoam midsole is a nitrogen infused supercritical foam that absorbs impact and returns energy with each step. It is built to reduce fatigue over long distances rather than just cushion the first few miles. A TPU rock plate sits between the midsole and outsole, adding stability and protection on uneven terrain especially under a heavy pack. The exclusive Vibram N45 outsole uses Megagrip compound with Traction Lug technology for grip across wet and dry surfaces. Fit is based on Danner's DT6 last, inspired by trail running with an 8mm heel to toe offset and a slightly wider forefoot for stability. A foam core fabric tongue and gusset hug the instep to prevent hot spots. Open cell ankle padding stays breathable over long days. An OrthoLite open cell footbed adds cushioning and moisture control. The recraftable outsole is the detail that separates the N45 from most lightweight hikers. When the Vibram rubber wears down, Danner rebuilds it rather than sending the whole boot to landfill. Eligible for boot stretch, basic, and resole packages. Covered by a 365 day warranty.

The GA 2100 earned the nickname CasiOak for an octagonal bezel that shares its design language with the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. The GA2100K series takes that platform and gives it a nightlife treatment, with each colorway designed to capture the feel of laser strobes, fog machines, and late night energy on a dance floor.Every model in the series combines translucent matte cases and bands with glossy piano black dials and neon accents in different colors. The smooth dial finish adds depth to the black, while the translucent materials give the bezels and straps a hazy, atmospheric texture. The varying tones and finishes across the lineup let each piece evoke a different shade of the same late night mood. The foundation stays the same across the range. Carbon Core Guard construction keeps every model at 51 grams while maintaining 200 meters of water resistance. The analog digital display runs dual Super Illuminator LEDs, world time across 31 time zones, a 1/100 second stopwatch, five daily alarms, and a hand shift function that clears the analog hands for an unobstructed view of the digital readout.
Still a G Shock. Still built to take a beating. Just designed to look like it belongs somewhere louder.

Hidden behind a private gated entrance in Joshua Tree, Sandora Domes is the kind of property that makes you question why anyone builds with straight lines in the desert. Sculptural earth built domes, curved plaster walls, custom tilework, and handcrafted stone details sit across nearly two acres of high desert ground, five minutes from downtown Joshua Tree and ten minutes from the National Park entrance.
The main residence holds two suites. The Sunrise Suite and Sunset Suite each get a king bed, lounge nook, sleeping nook for an additional guest, and an ensuite bathroom with custom hand cut tilework. The interiors carry the same organic material language as the exterior, with curved walls and warm finishes that feel crafted rather than constructed.

The outdoor spaces are where Sandora earns its reputation. A custom pool and spa anchor the center of the property, flanked by a built in outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, an outdoor bar, and a sunken fire pit lounge designed for the kind of stargazing that only the high desert delivers. An ocotillo shaded dining pavilion seats long dinners under open sky. A handcrafted stone outdoor shower sits poolside. The wellness program is built into the architecture itself. A dedicated meditation dome provides a quiet sanctuary separate from the living spaces. A Hammam inspired bath house features custom tilework, indoor and outdoor soaking tubs, and showers that blur the line between interior and landscape. A tea dome offers a quiet retreat for slower moments. A private yoga deck handles morning practice. These are not afterthoughts added to a rental property. They are designed spaces that define what the stay actually is. Additional domes include a dedicated dining space for six guests, bringing the total built environment to a collection of distinct structures scattered across the site rather than one building trying to do everything. Starlink internet, parking for six vehicles, and pet friendly access keep the practical side covered.
Formerly known as Bonita Domes and featured by Dwell, Business Insider, and Palm Springs Life, the property has been thoughtfully transformed into something that sits between architectural landmark, boutique resort, and private sanctuary. Pioneertown and Pappy and Harriets are 20 minutes away. Palm Springs is under an hour.

The Klettersack was one of the bags that put Topo Designs on the map. When the brand launched in 2008, this flap top pack with its diamond leather patches and bold color palette became a flagship product that helped define the entire aesthetic. Then they discontinued it. Now it is back, and the updates address exactly what fans were asking for before it went away. The design stays true to the original. The iconic flip top closure with side release buckle straps, dual side compression straps, and full grain leather lash tabs are all carried over. The silhouette borrows from traditional German hiking packs, which is where the name comes from, and it still moves naturally between a campus, a trail, a commute, and a carry on bag without looking out of place in any setting. The materials have been modernized. The exterior is 1000D recycled nylon instead of the heavier canvas or leather of earlier versions, making it lighter and more weatherproof while maintaining the durability the original was known for. The interior is lined in 210D recycled nylon. Heavy duty YKK zippers handle every closure. Padded shoulder straps are reinforced with seatbelt webbing for load bearing comfort over longer carries. The biggest addition is the externally accessible, TSA compliant laptop sleeve that fits most 15 inch laptops. This was the feature fans wanted most before the bag was discontinued. The original internal laptop sleeve remains inside the main compartment and accommodates up to 16 inch laptops. Two laptop sleeves in a 25 liter pack gives it genuine commuter and travel versatility that the first version lacked. Additional internal zippered pockets and a security pocket handle organization for the rest of your carry.Side water bottle pockets, a zippered top flap pocket, and a drawstring cinch closure on the main compartment round out the functionality. Available in four colors including a duck camo option. The Klettersack helped build Topo Designs into what it is today. This reissue keeps what made it iconic and fixes what held it back.

Most portable chargers still come with one obvious problem. You always need something else with them, whether it is a cable or a separate wall adapter. The Nimble WALLY Pro Wireless Magnetic Portable Wall Charger removes that entirely by combining both into a single, compact device. At its core, it works as a MagSafe compatible battery that snaps directly onto your phone, delivering up to 15W of wireless charging. The magnetic alignment keeps everything in place whether you are using your phone or just letting it charge in your pocket or bag. What sets it apart is the built in wall prongs. Flip them out and it plugs directly into an outlet, recharging itself while also powering your phone at the same time. No extra accessories, no separate charger to carry. It is a small change, but it solves one of the most common friction points with portable power. On the go, the 5000mAh battery handles everyday top ups, while a USB C port adds wired charging for a second device. That means you can charge your phone wirelessly and something else at the same time without juggling gear.It is a straightforward idea executed properly. Fewer pieces, less to think about, and a charger that is always ready whether you are at home or out.

Most ultra short throw projectors still need a couple of feet of clearance from the wall. The JMGO O2S Ultra needs 6.6 inches. A 0.16 to 1 throw ratio, claimed as the shortest on the market, projects a 100 inch image from a unit that sits practically flush against the display surface. Maximum screen size reaches 150 inches. In a body that weighs 10 pounds and is roughly the size of a bread maker. The image quality comes from JMGO's MALC 3.0 RGB triple laser system producing 3,600 ISO lumens. That is bright enough to deliver clear, vivid visuals in daylit rooms, not just darkened home theaters. 4K UHD resolution with 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, 4,000 to 1 native contrast ratio, and 3 million to 1 dynamic contrast. Color accuracy sits below Delta E 1. Dolby Vision and HDR10 support handle the dynamic range. On paper and in practice, this is projector performance that competes with panels costing significantly more per inch of screen size.Sound is handled by an integrated 20 watt Dynaudio system supporting Dolby Audio and DTS HD. It fills a room without an external speaker, which matters for a device designed to simplify your setup rather than add more boxes to it. For dedicated home theater builds, an HDMI 2.1 port with audio return channel connects to a soundbar or surround system. A second HDMI 2.1 port handles low lag gaming from consoles.Google TV is built in with official Netflix, Disney+, YouTube 4K, Prime Video, and Hulu available out of the box. Wi Fi 6 handles streaming. The Bluetooth remote supports voice search and playback control. Setup runs through autofocus, automatic keystone correction, fit to screen framing, and surface compensation for uneven walls. The kind of automated calibration that means you position it, turn it on, and start watching. The O2S Ultra won a Red Dot Design Award for good reason. The compact form with precisely crafted contours looks like a premium audio component rather than a projector. It fits on most TV stands or cabinets without dominating the space. Ten pounds means you can move it between rooms or take it outside without a production.

Before aerodynamics were a defining feature of car design, Tatra was already building the most technically sophisticated vehicles in the world. The T87 arrived in 1936 with a wind-cheating body, a rear mounted air cooled magnesium V8, a backbone chassis, fully independent suspension at all four corners, and a drag coefficient of 0.36. In 1936. Ferdinand Porsche's Volkswagen shared so many of its principles that Tatra sued and won. Only 3,056 were built across the entire production run. Fewer than 250 are believed to survive. This particular example, chassis 79317, has a history that reads like a Cold War novel. In 1976 a 24 year old German enthusiast crossed the Iron Curtain into Czechoslovakia and tracked the car down to an owner in Frydek Mistek who was still using it as a winter daily driver. Buying it was straightforward. Getting it out was not. An export tax equal to the car's value, two years of negotiations, and repeated border rejections later, the T87 finally crossed the Iron Curtain in 1979 under its own power, driving the 1,000 kilometres back to Hannover. In 2001 the owner sent it home to the Czech Republic for a complete ground up restoration by ECORRA in Koprivnice, the world's foremost specialists in these machines. The original colour combination of dark green over green leather was confirmed through the Tatra factory museum. Custom leather was supplied by Aresma in Hamburg, period correct headlining and carpets sourced by the owner. Body, paint, and mechanicals were completely overhauled. Twenty three years after completion, the panel fitment and paint remain at a level that would embarrass many leading European restoration workshops. The car passed to its second German owner in southern Bavaria in 2016 and has been carefully maintained and exercised since. It is now available through Schaltkulisse in Munich at an undisclosed price. Jay Leno, who owns one, has called the T87 the greatest car that nobody has ever heard of. That description is becoming harder to sustain as these machines increasingly command the attention their engineering always deserved.

The original Group C digital watch from 2023 established Autodromo's endurance racing aesthetic. The Turbo Sport evolves the concept by combining an analog dial inspired by turbo era tachometers with a digital LCD window, putting both worlds on the same face. The upper dial is pure instrument. High contrast syringe hands, a debossed grid pattern, and bold indexes reference the cockpit gauges of 1980s and 1990s endurance racers. If you have ever studied the dashboard of a Porsche 962 or a Jaguar XJR 9, the design language is immediately familiar. At six o'clock, an LCD window handles the functional extras: dual additional time zones, a daily alarm, and a 1/100 second chronograph. An EL backlight covers low light readability alongside lume filled hands. The case is what separates this from most watches in the category. CNC milled from anodized aluminium rather than stainless steel, the same material that defined the Group C paddock in period. The result is 58 grams total weight on the wrist. At 38.5mm across, 40mm lug to lug, and 11.4mm thick, it wears compact and sporty without feeling like it's trying to make a statement. Three anodized finishes are available: Grey, Gold, and Silver. Each gets a brushed 316L stainless steel caseback with polished bevels and paint filled logo, a sapphire crystal, and 50 metres of water resistance. The FKM rubber strap with nylon inlay is a new design from Autodromo and reportedly the most comfortable they have produced. The 20mm width keeps it proportional to the case size.$450 across all three colorways. The Grey is already on backorder.

GoPro has spent years dominating action cameras. The Mission 1 PRO is a deliberate step into different territory. It is a compact cinema camera that combines the image quality of professional cameras, the portability of a point and shoot, and the durability GoPro is known for. Waterproof to 66 feet, 8K60 video, and a 1 inch sensor in a body small enough to mount anywhere. The sensor is the foundation. At 1 inch it is larger than what most compact cameras and all smartphones use, capturing more light and detail across every shooting condition. In 8K mode it delivers 50MP resolution. Switch to the Quad Bayer 12MP mode in 4K and low light performance improves further, producing natural cinematic footage with minimal noise even after dark. The GP3 processor behind it provides twice the pixel processing power of previous generations, enabling the resolution and frame rate combinations that define this camera. The spec sheet reads like a cinema rig. 8K60 video. 8K30 Open Gate in 4:3 for 33% more resolution than competitors and maximum flexibility for reframing in post. 4K120 for smooth slow motion. 4K240 for 8x slow motion. And 960fps at lower resolution for the most extreme slow motion GoPro has ever offered. 50MP stills in Single, Interval, and Burst modes. 10 bit color with GP Log encoding for professional color grading. HLG HDR for greater dynamic range. Recording at up to 240Mbps. Timecode sync for multi camera editing.Battery life was a weakness in previous GoPros. The new 2150mAh Enduro 2 battery changes that. Over 3 hours of continuous 4K30 recording and over 5 hours at 1080p30 on a single charge. Improved thermal management prevents shutdown during extended recording sessions. Fast charging reduces downtime between shoots. The camera performs down to minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit.HyperSmooth stabilization handles handheld footage without a gimbal. A 159 degree native field of view through an updated lens design gives the widest perspective in the category. Four microphones capture 32 bit float audio. A removable lens hood cuts glare. Raised buttons work with gloves. Dual displays include a 2.59 inch rear OLED and a 1.4 inch front LCD. Magnetic mounting swaps setups in seconds, with built in GoPro mounting fingers and a quarter twenty thread for standard tripods.Thirteen intelligent capture modes use on camera neural processing to optimize for specific scenarios including Dive, Vlog, Low Light, and Slo Mo. In camera subject tracking keeps faces and bodies centered automatically. Hindsight captures up to 30 seconds of footage before you press record. This is not an incremental HERO update. It is GoPro entering the compact cinema camera market with a product that competes on image quality while retaining the size, durability, and mounting versatility that no traditional cinema camera can match.Grab it now directly from GoPro, or from Amazon

The Floating House sits on bedrock on the western ridge of Bowen Island, a 20 minute ferry crossing from Vancouver's Horseshoe Bay. Two historic burnt out old growth stumps frame the site like sentinels, and SMStudio founder Simon Montgomery positioned the house directly between them. The building was not placed on the land so much as fitted into it. The form is simple. A steeply pitched standing seam metal roof over cedar clad walls that are weathering naturally into the palette of the surrounding Douglas firs. A cantilever lifts the structure slightly off the bedrock, creating a shadow gap at the base that gives the house its name and its sense of floating above the clearing. At 2,304 square feet of interior space on a one acre site, it reads smaller from outside than it lives inside. That surprise is intentional. The plan splits into two wings. Living spaces occupy the northern side with the kitchen, dining, and living room oriented to capture afternoon sun through a seven foot sliding glass wall that opens fully onto a 560 square foot west facing deck. A wood burning stove anchors the living room beside a picture window overlooking the trees. Skylights draw light down through the vaulted ceiling and shift its character throughout the day. The kitchen runs an eleven foot window above the sink with a skylight directly over the countertop and an adjacent pantry. The private wing to the south holds three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a laundry room, and an office. The primary suite includes a walk in closet and ensuite that are sized well beyond what the exterior suggests. Secondary bedrooms are similarly generous, each with its own forest outlook. Materials run warm throughout. Douglas fir plywood ceilings, rafters, flooring, and a full custom millwork package by Steve Cruden. Caesarstone counters and backsplashes in every kitchen and bathroom. Polished concrete flooring in the entry corridor transitions to timber in the living spaces. Cascadia window systems, A-N-D light column pendants, Phylrich faucets, and Casson cabinet hardware complete the interior. The landscape is as considered as the building. Blast rock from construction was reintegrated into the gardens as steps for the deck and entrance stairs. A wind garden off the kitchen is planted with Mexican feather grass and Gaura designed to move with the breeze. A moss garden was cultivated on the rock outcrop framed by the entry where bare rock used to be. Hiking trails begin at the back door and King Edward Bay beach is a short walk downhill.
Montgomery's work draws on west coast modernism and Japanese design traditions, and the Floating House is the clearest expression of both. Currently listed through West Coast Modern at $2,100,000.

The BOOX Tappy solves a small problem that anyone who reads on an e-reader knows well. Holding a device and tapping the screen to turn pages interrupts the reading position you just got comfortable in. The Tappy is a wireless Bluetooth remote with two chunky tactile buttons that handle page turns, scrolling, and media control without touching the screen. The design leans into a miniature typewriter aesthetic that gives it more character than a functional accessory usually gets. Two round buttons sit on a compact body weighing 29 grams with interchangeable keycaps. It ships with standard O and X caps alongside spare pixelated heart and coffee cup icons. A silver sliding power switch, LED status indicator, rubber anti slip desk pads, and a lanyard hole round out the physical details.Three modes cover different use cases. Reading Mode delivers forward and backward page turns for book layouts. Browsing Mode scrolls vertically through web content, news feeds, and long articles. Multimedia Mode handles play, pause, and skip for audiobooks and music. Long press both buttons for five seconds to switch between them. On BOOX devices you can map double clicks or long presses to trigger system commands like screen refreshes, screenshots, or front light adjustments. It pairs via Bluetooth and requires BOOX Firmware V4.2 or later. Natively optimized for devices like the Note Air5 C and Palma 2 Pro but compatible with other BOOX devices. The 95mAh rechargeable battery charges via USB C and lasts weeks on a single charge.
$25.99 for a device that keeps your hands where they are and your reading uninterrupted. One of those accessories that costs almost nothing and changes a daily habit immediately.

Insta360 has been pushing what small cameras can do for years. The Luna Ultra is the most ambitious thing they have built. A 3 axis gimbal camera with dual Leica engineered lenses, a triple AI chip system, 8K30 Dolby Vision video, and a detachable touchscreen that doubles as a wireless remote and microphone. It is trying to replace your action camera, your vlog setup, and your gimbal in one device. The lens system runs two sensors. A 1 inch CMOS main sensor behind a Leica Summicron lens handles the wide end with up to 8K30 resolution. A 1/1.3 inch CMOS telephoto sensor with an F2.0 aperture delivers up to 6x lossless zoom and 12x total zoom with natural optical background blur. Five focal lengths are covered from a single device. Macro mode gets close enough to reveal fine textures while the 3 axis stabilization keeps telephoto shots steady. The triple AI chip is the processing backbone. Two chips are dedicated to imaging, handling noise reduction and exposure in low light. The third is a 4nm flagship chip that powers everything else, from Deep Track 5.0 AI subject tracking to real time Beauty Mode for portrait video. PureVideo mode pushes low light performance to 4K60 with reduced noise and enhanced detail. Dynamic range hits 14 stops. 10 bit I-Log recording with ACES workflow compatibility gives serious editors the flexibility they need in post. The detachable 2 inch OLED touchscreen transmits HD video up to 20 meters and has a built in microphone for recording dialogue at distance. Pull it off the camera and you have a wireless monitor and remote control for solo shooting, group shots, or any scenario where you can't be behind the lens. A four microphone array across the camera and handle captures spatial audio, with Bluetooth connectivity for Insta360 Mic Air or Mic Pro wireless transmitters.Leica color profiles and cinematic filters are built in for ready to use looks straight from the camera. QR Color Share lets you save custom color grades as scannable codes that other Luna Ultra users can apply by pointing their camera lens at the code. 200MP scenic panorama mode, 4K120 slow motion, 4K60 portrait video, and 37MP still photos round out the capture options.

Battery runs 4 hours of continuous shooting from a 1550mAh cell with 80% recharge in 23 minutes via USB C. 47GB of internal storage gets you shooting immediately, expandable via microSD.

The brief was personal. An Istanbul based enduro racer became a father and wanted a bike that matched his new pace. Less aggression, more utility, still capable. The Uzer brothers at Bunker Custom Cycles took a 2024 BMW R nineT Scrambler and stripped it back to something that channels the utilitarian honesty of the mid 1980s R 80 GS and Dakar era BMWs.The tank is the centrepiece. A low poly steel inner tank sits underneath a custom outer shell shaped to recall the R 80 and R 100 silhouette. Fuel capacity drops slightly from 17 to 15.5 litres, but the proportions shift dramatically. The bike suddenly reads as one connected form rather than a collection of modern panels bolted to a modular frame. Also by Bunker, check out the awesome Honda CL250 Cafe RacerUp front, Bunker raised the headlight assembly by 3cm and designed a new fairing and high front fender kit that gives the bike a purposeful face. A Denali S4 fog light integrates directly into the fairing rather than hanging off the bars as an afterthought. The philosophy throughout was adding function without creating visual clutter. At the rear, a bespoke seat bridges the reshaped tank and the frame, while a custom fender, taillight, and practical luggage rack keep things clean and usable. Redesigned air intake covers, side trim, and side panels tie the whole profile together. The 1,170cc air and oil cooled boxer twin underneath stays stock at 109 horsepower, which was never the point to change. The engine skid plate was added not for aggressive riding but to complete the visual line along the bottom of the bike. The 2 into 2 exhaust with high mounted mufflers stays in classic scrambler position. The livery is BMW white with red and blue racing accents, a direct nod to the heritage that inspired the entire build. Most of the components Bunker developed for this project, including the high fender, fairing, and rear fender kits, are available as plug and play products from their catalogue. A custom build with production accessibility built into the process from the start.More motorcycles worth checking out

The original Plaud NotePin made a strong case for wearable AI recording. The NotePin S refines the concept with better hardware, broader AI integration, and the kind of enterprise grade privacy compliance that makes it usable in professional settings where most consumer recorders aren't welcome. At 0.61 ounces it practically disappears. Wear it as a necklace, wristband, clip, or pin, all four accessories are included. A dedicated physical record button gives tactile confirmation that you're capturing, which matters in situations where checking a screen would be inappropriate. Twenty hours of continuous recording, 40 days of standby, and 64GB of local storage mean it keeps working even without an internet connection. The AI layer is where the NotePin S earns its price. Plaud Intelligence processes audio through GPT 5.5, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and Gemini 3.1 Pro to generate accurate transcriptions in 112 languages with speaker labels and custom vocabulary. Over 10,000 professional templates turn raw recordings into structured outputs: mind maps, to do lists, and role specific summaries that pull different perspectives from the same conversation. Multimodal input lets you add typed notes, images, and real time highlights alongside the audio for richer context.Privacy compliance covers ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and EN18031. That list matters because it opens the door to medical, legal, and financial professionals who need documentation without the liability risk of consumer grade tools. The kit includes the NotePin S, magnetic pin, clip, lanyard, wristband, charging dock, and USB C cable. A free Starter Plan provides 300 transcription minutes per month. Pro runs $8.34 per month billed annually. Unlimited transcription is $239.99 per year. At 32 grams with a nylon band, the Coros Pace 4 weighs less than an energy gel. The Jakob Ingebrigtsen edition takes that ultralight platform and adds premium materials and details inspired by the Olympic champion's two gold medals in the 1500m and 5000m.The watch itself is a serious training tool regardless of the branding. A 1.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen with 164% higher resolution than the Pace 3 delivers sharp, readable data in any lighting condition. Auto adjusting brightness handles everything from pre dawn runs to direct sunlight. The 11.8mm profile keeps it low on the wrist, and the combination of a tactile digital crown, two physical buttons, and the touchscreen means you can control it at pace without fumbling.Battery life is the number that matters most for endurance athletes and the Pace 4 delivers. 41 hours of continuous GPS in all systems mode and up to 19 days of daily use. That covers the heaviest training blocks without needing a charger mid week. The built in microphone is the new feature worth paying attention to. Voice recording lets you capture training logs and notes at the end of an activity or drop voice pins mid run to mark moments, locations, or how you felt at a specific point. Voice control handles setting alarms, creating target workouts, and other quick commands. It adds a layer of documentation that typing on a watch screen never delivered.
Training tools include Running Fitness tracking, Race Predictor, Virtual Pacer, personalised marathon plans, VO2 max, lactate threshold estimation, and a workout builder. The Coros app ties it all together with recovery time, sleep stages, HRV monitoring, and menstrual cycle tracking.

The Ingebrigtsen edition gets an aluminium bezel with a matte gold finish engineered to resist sweat and weather. A transparent crystal crown reveals a gold pin securing the dial to the body. The nylon band is woven with golden yarn using a jacquard technique, with "FEARLESS" on the exterior and a subtle track lane pattern on the reverse side.

Traeger built its reputation on pellet grills and smokers. The Irontop is a different direction entirely. A flat top griddle built to handle everything from breakfast pancakes to seared steaks, positioned as a direct competitor to Blackstone at what Traeger claims is a better performance standard. The headline claim is even heat distribution. Traeger says the Irontop delivers more consistent edge to edge temperature coverage than Blackstone Omnivore griddles, based on head to head testing they conducted in March 2026 measuring temperature variation across the cooking surface at ten minutes on high heat. Whether that difference shows up in everyday cooking is hard to say without independent testing, but the engineering behind it is solid. Two burners on the 2 burner model provide full coverage across 504 square inches of cooking area. Built in 360 degree wind guards keep heat locked in outdoors where wind typically kills griddle performance. The cooking surface gets a rust resistant, food safe coating that is heat treated during manufacturing for durability. With proper care it delivers non stick properties without the concerns that come with traditional non stick coatings breaking down at high temperatures. A single grease catch bucket handles cleanup. Built in side shelves add prep and plating space. A reinforced hinged lid protects the cooktop when not in use.The P.A.L. Pop And Lock accessory rail along the front lets you customise the setup with hooks, tool holders, and other add ons rather than working with a fixed configuration. Available in 2 burner and 4 burner versions for different cooking needs and space requirements.59 inches wide, 39 inches tall, 25 inches deep on the 2 burner. Covered by a 3 year limited warranty. Traeger entering the griddle market with this level of confidence in their product suggests they see flat top cooking as more than a side project.

BAK calls the Camden a livable artifact, and that framing is more honest than most tiny house marketing. This is not a downsized home pretending to be a house. It is an 18 square metre black volume on wheels designed to stop somewhere, open up, and let you observe. The lower level does the most with the least. A longitudinal kitchen, full bathroom, and two condensed lounge areas occupy the floor plan without competing for space. The interior is deliberately dark, with wood used only in the contact areas where your hands and body actually meet the surfaces. The material contrast is intentional. Dark walls recede. Warm wood appears where it matters. The frontage transforms into a gazebo that opens the ground floor directly into the landscape, dissolving the boundary between shelter and site. It is the kind of detail that turns a parked structure into something that feels placed rather than arrived. Upstairs, a bedroom with a skylight positioned directly over the bed frames the night sky from where you sleep. That single design decision defines the entire upper level. The Camden is transportable by road and designed by BAK, a Chilean architecture studio working across prefabricated and custom built structures. It sits somewhere between architecture and object, a portable piece that takes the tiny house concept and treats it with the seriousness of a building rather than the compromises of a vehicle.

Most belts are an afterthought. The Dango Spec Ops Belt is built like the rest of your carry kit. A stainless steel quick release Cobra buckle locks securely and opens instantly, the same mechanism used in military and climbing applications where failure is not an option. The 1.5 inch strap is ballistic mil spec nylon, double stitched for strength and quick drying for days that don't stay dry.The design is one size fits all. Cut the webbing to your length, thread it through, and the Cobra buckle handles the rest. An elastic keeper holds the excess flat against the belt so nothing hangs loose. It is the kind of detail that separates gear designed by people who actually carry from products that just borrow the aesthetic. The Spec Ops Belt sits within Dango's broader tactical Spec Ops Edition and matches the same military inspired design language across their wallet and accessory lineup.

The real Sagrada Familia has been under construction for over 140 years. Lego's version should take considerably less time, but at 12,060 pieces it is the largest set the company has ever released by piece count. It arrives to mark the 100th anniversary of Antoni Gaudi's death. The build mirrors the actual construction sequence of the basilica. It begins with the foundational Apse and Crypt, moves through Gaudi's original Nativity facade and the dramatic Passion facade, then rises into the grand naves, Western Sacristy, and six iconic towers. The final stage completes the model with the Eastern Sacristy and the Glory facade. That progression is a smart decision by Lego's design team because it turns the build into an architectural history lesson rather than just a very long assembly project. The level of detail is where it justifies the price. The soaring towers, the intricate facade work, and the small details that define Gaudi's vision are all recreated in brick. The standout feature is a stained glass window effect designed to replicate how light moves through the real basilica's interior. The finished model stands 62cm tall, 47cm wide, and 39cm deep. It is meant to be displayed and admired from every angle. The original basilica was started by Francisco de Paula del Villar in 1882 before Gaudi took over the following year and completely transformed the design into what it is today. At 172.5 metres it is the world's tallest church, and it still isn't finished. Lego's version at least offers the satisfaction of completion.$799.99. Huckberry keeps surfacing gear that balances function and design without leaning too far into either. This month's edit runs from a MIL-STD tested Italian tool watch to a portable pizza oven, with reliable everyday carry and summer essentials filling in between. Nothing here needs explaining twice. These are the picks that stood out.

The name Audi Nuvolari comes from the 1935 German Grand Prix, when Tazio Nuvolari drove an outdated Alfa Romeo to victory against every German factory car on their home circuit. It is considered the greatest upset in motorsport history. Audi chose that name for its first supercar since the R8, and the car has to live up to it.The powertrain pairs a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 that revs to 10,000 rpm with three axial flux electric motors and a 7.3 kWh lithium ion battery. Combined output is 987 horsepower, making it the most powerful production vehicle Audi has ever built. 0 to 62 in 2.6 seconds. 0 to 124 in 6.8 seconds. Top speed above 217 mph. The numbers put it squarely against the hypercars, not the sports car segment. The construction borrows directly from Audi's F1 programme. The carbon fibre body uses prepreg autoclave manufacturing techniques from motorsport, sitting over an aluminium Audi Space Frame with forged centre lock wheels. Active aerodynamics include a three position deployable rear wing and a DRS button on the steering wheel lifted straight from Formula 1, generating over 880 pounds of downforce at peak. That is not a styling exercise. It is functional hardware designed to manage a car with this level of performance.Quattro predictive drive brings the next generation of Audi's all wheel drive system, distributing power proactively rather than reactively. The Audi Ceramic Pro braking system was developed from scratch for consistent high deceleration on track and road, not adapted from an existing platform.Limited to 499 units. Deliveries begin in the first half of 2027. Audi needed a successor to the R8 that could justify the brand's presence in the supercar conversation. Naming it after the greatest upset in racing history suggests they know what that standard looks like.

The Polaroid Go was already the smallest instant analog camera you could buy. The Gen 3 keeps that format and fixes the things that held earlier versions back. A new lens produces sharper, more zoomed in shots. A stronger flash improves results in low light and reduces glare on selfies. Small upgrades that make a genuine difference on a camera this size. The selfie mirror on the front keeps your face centred without guesswork. A self timer handles group shots. Double exposure mode layers two moments into a single frame for anyone who wants to get creative beyond point and shoot. The photos themselves are tiny enough to fit in a phone case, which sounds like a gimmick until you actually start carrying one around.Battery life covers up to 15 film packs per charge. It shoots Polaroid Go film only, not compatible with I-Type or 600 film, which is worth knowing before you stock up. A wrist strap is included for carrying it on the go rather than buried in a bag.
Five new colors for Gen 3. Still the most pocketable instant camera on the market, now with a lens and flash that actually keep up.
