Benelli BKX 125

The Benelli BKX 125 feels like a smart answer to a question more brands should be asking how do you make adventure riding genuinely approachable. Designed for new riders and A1 license holders, this compact adventure bike strips away intimidation while keeping the parts that actually matter.

Power comes from a modern 125cc liquid cooled single cylinder producing 15 hp and 12.1 Nm of torque. On paper that sounds modest, but in practice it is exactly right. From our perspective, usable power and confidence beat excess every time, especially off road. The lightweight chassis and roughly 317 pound curb weight make the BKX 125 easy to manage on dirt gravel or city streets.

Benelli did not cheap out where it counts. A steel trellis frame supports adjustable long travel suspension with 180 mm of movement, paired with 19 inch front and 17 inch rear spoked wheels. ABS equipped disc brakes front and rear add reassurance, while the upright riding position keeps things comfortable and controlled.

Design is clean and purposeful, with full LED lighting and clever details like integrated indicators in the handguards. Color options including Nordic White Cement Grey Avio Blue and Dune Sea give it real visual appeal.

It is not perfect. The seat height may feel tall for some beginners and availability is still limited in certain markets. Still, in our view, the Benelli BKX 125 gets the fundamentals right and proves that entry level adventure does not have to feel compromised.
