1990 Porsche 911 Singer DLS Turbo

The mighty Singer DLS Turbo takes the already iconic 964 generation Porsche 911 and pushes it into entirely new territory. Inspired by the legendary Porsche 934/5 endurance racers of the 1970s, this is not just a restoration, it is a complete reengineering of a classic platform, built with obsessive attention to detail. It sits firmly among the most exclusive restomods we regularly feature in our cars section.

Every DLS Turbo begins as a standard 964, stripped down to its bare chassis and rebuilt from the ground up. At its core is a heavily reworked 3.8 liter twin turbo flat six, producing an astonishing 710 horsepower while still revving to 9000 rpm. Advanced engineering elements like water cooled heads, variable turbine geometry, and air to water intercooling create a power delivery that blends brutal performance with precision.

The “Sepang Commission” is one of just 99 examples, making it an exceptionally rare opportunity. What sets it apart further is its dual personality. The car comes with both road and track bodywork configurations, stored in custom flight cases, allowing the owner to switch between setups depending on the occasion.

Visually, the build is nothing short of stunning. Finished in paint to sample Wolf Blue, it features dark blue tinted carbon fiber elements, champagne anodized details, and custom magnesium turbofan wheels. Every detail has been carefully considered, right down to the solid brass badging.

Inside, the craftsmanship continues with a refined mix of leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber. The cabin balances performance and luxury, delivering a driving environment that feels both purposeful and beautifully executed.

The result is one of the most extreme interpretations of the Porsche 911 ever created. Rare, powerful, and meticulously crafted, the Singer DLS Turbo represents the absolute peak of modern restomod engineering.
