Ocean Cabin

Ocean cabin is a remote getaway unlike any other. Envisioned by talented Sri Lanka-based digital artist Thilina Liyanage the tiny cabin is perched on a giant boulder on a rocky coastline, and is expressed as a faceted volume, suggesting a continuation of the rocky landforms below. Inside, the unique dwelling features an open living space with an intimate mezzanine sleeping area opened from above by a faceted skylight. The front of the structure features a dramatic, full height wall of glazing that removes the boundaries between the interior and the landscape, and looks outward to the cliffs and ocean horizon. The cabin is accessed by multiple flights of stairs wrapped around the massive rock. watch the video below
