Skyscape Rooftop House

In hyper-dense cities, rooftops are the new untapped real estate. This impressive minimalist dwelling is built on the rooftop of a five-story apartment building in Bangkok, Thailand. The rooftop was previously only used to store water tanks, leaving an expanse of empty space for WARchitect to work their magic and build an ultra-modern home that emerges out of nowhere in the sky. Balau wood planks clad nearly the entire interior for a warm, cohesive atmosphere, and instead of a normal ground, this house has a concrete courtyard. The front of the Skyhouse consists of a dining area, a living room and a bedroom where the owner can enjoy a panoramic view of the city through a large sliding glass door. At the back of the house there is a bathroom, a kitchen, and a beautiful courtyard that can be seen from anywhere in the house. The end result is a bachelors dream pad.
