The Only Backpack You'll Ever Need
Herschel has stepped into performance territory with the All Season Backpack, part of its new Outdoor Equipment line. Built from a custom double-ripstop made from 100% recycled polyester, it is water-repellent, wind-resistant, and tough enough for rough terrain.
This is not a lifestyle bag dressed up with outdoor details. The construction and feature set are aimed at actual use.
If you want a similarly versatile performance pack from a dedicated outdoor brand, the Fjallraven Kajka X Latt 45 is worth considering.
The lineup runs across three sizes. The 17L ($130) is the compact daily option, built around a hydration system, removable waist and sternum straps, and an internal tool organization system. The 29L ($150) follows the same setup with more capacity for longer days out. At the top, the 36L All Season Pro ($200) is configured for backcountry touring, with multi-purpose utility straps, a dual-access main compartment, and a dedicated pocket for rescue radios and GPS devices alongside integrated sleeves for safety tools.
For a lighter option built more around running and commuting, the On Running Backpacks take a different approach.
All three include a sternum strap with a rescue whistle, reflective detailing, and Herschel's signature TPU diamond lash tab. The black colorway keeps everything clean and versatile across trail and urban use.
