Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso
Alfa Romeo has unveiled the striking Cuorerosso Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, offering a glimpse into the future of Italian performance cars. Designed as a statement of the brand's evolving identity rather than a production preview, the sculpted 2+2 coupe combines dramatic proportions, innovative technology, and the possibility of hybrid V6 performance.
Measuring 4.7 meters long and just 1.33 meters tall, the Cuorerosso blends the elegance of a grand tourer with the aggressive stance of a supercar. Its flowing bodywork features Alfa Romeo's signature Scudetto grille, illuminated triangular detailing, distinctive telephone-inspired wheels, and a sharply truncated rear. Carefully sculpted surfaces and an integrated diffuser contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.28, while the deep Liquid Ink Red finish changes appearance with the light, emphasizing the car's dramatic shape.
Inside, four individual seats sit within a minimalist, driver-focused cabin inspired by Alfa Romeo's legendary 33 Stradale. A transforming instrument display physically changes configuration to reduce distractions, while a central Magma Display combines touchscreen functionality with tactile rotary controls. Premium materials include Poltrona Frau nubuck, regenerated leather, and lightweight technical fabrics. Steer-by-wire technology, air suspension, and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes further demonstrate the concept's technical ambitions.
Underpinning the Cuorerosso's performance vision is an imagined 2.9-liter V6 full-hybrid configuration, paired with Q4 all-wheel drive and a carbon fiber driveshaft. Although Alfa Romeo has confirmed that the concept itself is not destined for production, its combination of distinctive Italian styling, driver engagement, and electrified performance offers a compelling direction for the brand's next generation.
