1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible

Many Corvette lovers maintain that the 1960s "Vettte" is the best Corvette ever built, and this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible that Sotheby´s has up for auction is really something special. Powered by a V-8 with a single carburator, and producing 365 bhp, this stunning example is in pristine condition and has received a number of upgrades (over $45,000 spent) using only factory-correct components to improve overall usability. These include power steering and power brakes, new suspension, front and rear anti-sway bars, plus new shocks and struts. Toned leather seats, a pristine matte black dash, and a woodgrain steering wheel highlight an impressive array of instruments and features inside.
