While devices like Hatch or Dreamie build full sleep systems, Balmuda takes the opposite approach, removing complexity instead of adding it.

The aluminum body is machined from a single block, giving it a density and finish that feels closer to a design object than a typical gadget. Balmuda also worked with LoveFrom, Jony Ive’s design firm, to access high-end manufacturing partners, a detail that helps explain the level of refinement here.

It is compact enough to travel with, with a built in battery that lasts up to 24 hours, and connects to an app for deeper control when needed.
