Zook Atlas Cabin
The Zook Atlas Cabin takes indoor-outdoor living to a new level with a clever feature that lets you literally sleep beneath the stars. Designed by American cabin builder Zook Cabins, this contemporary tiny home combines a minimalist, wood-clad exterior with an oversized glass garage door and a bed that rolls directly onto the outdoor deck. The result is a compact retreat designed to make the most of its natural surroundings.
Built on a heavy-duty triple-axle trailer, the Atlas measures 32 feet long and 12 feet wide, including its deck and roof overhangs, with 233 square feet of finished interior space. The exterior pairs warm Lunawood cladding with a matte black metal roof and matching window frames, giving the cabin a clean, architectural appearance. An 8-foot-wide glass garage door opens onto a generous 10-by-12-foot deck, creating a seamless connection between the living area and the outdoors. The standout feature is a rolling bed platform that can slide outside, transforming the deck into an open-air sleeping space.
Inside, clear-coated birch plywood walls and ceilings create a warm, inviting atmosphere, complemented by whitewashed pine trim and durable vinyl flooring. The open-plan layout incorporates a compact kitchen with custom cabinetry, a granite sink, and a refrigerator, along with a fold-down dining table for two. A separate bathroom includes a full-size shower, vanity, and flushing toilet. Climate control comes courtesy of an LG mini-split system, while integrated insulation helps maintain comfort throughout the seasons.
Designed primarily as a vacation retreat rather than a conventional full-time residence, the Atlas offers a distinctive approach to compact living, where the surrounding landscape becomes part of the experience. Pricing is available upon request directly from Zook Cabins.
