The Record Console Done Right

Most record player consoles lean too heavily into nostalgia or feel overly technical. The JAMM LOW 160 finds a better balance, combining clean modern furniture design with the practical needs of a serious vinyl setup.

Built from solid oak, the console is designed to do more than simply hold a turntable. It acts as a complete listening station, with dedicated space for an amplifier, accessories, and up to 150 records, while still functioning naturally as a media console or sideboard within a living space.

If you prefer a more all in one approach to analog listening, the Trettitre Retro Music System combines vintage inspired aesthetics with integrated modern audio functionality.

The detailing is what separates it from standard storage furniture. Sliding doors made from hand cut wooden slats add texture and warmth while also improving airflow around audio equipment. It is a subtle but thoughtful solution that keeps the setup visually clean without compromising ventilation or accessibility.

Inside, the layout stays practical. One section handles vinyl storage, another houses audio components, while integrated drawers keep smaller accessories organized and out of sight. Open rear access and built in cable management help maintain a cleaner setup overall, something most media consoles still handle poorly.

For a more sculptural take on home audio design, the GRID Sound Wall turns classic cassette tapes into a functional modular speaker system.

The proportions also work well. Low and wide without feeling oversized, the JAMM LOW 160 gives a turntable setup enough visual presence to anchor a room without dominating it. Combined with the natural oak finish and minimalist lines, it feels timeless rather than trend driven.

The JAMM LOW 160 is not trying to imitate vintage hi fi furniture. It is a more refined evolution of it, built for modern interiors, better organization, and people who actually spend time listening to records instead of just displaying them.
