The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has finally arrived, marking Samsung's most rugged wearable yet. Designed for extreme sports enthusiasts and built to withstand the toughest environments, this smartwatch is made from Grade 4 Titanium and meets the stringent MIL-STD-810H standard. It's also IP68-rated and water-resistant up to 100 meters, ensuring durability and reliability in all conditions.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is engineered to operate in a wide range of temperatures, from -20C to 55C, and at altitudes from -500m to 9,000m, making it perfect for adventurers. A new customizable button above the watch crown allows for personalized actions with single tap, double tap, and long press functionalities.
Focusing on advanced sports tracking, the Galaxy Watch Ultra introduces a Multi-Sport tile, ideal for triathletes. It also features functional threshold power (FTP) calculation when paired with a power meter, catering specifically to cyclists and hardcore athletes.
Available in a single 47mm size with LTE functionality, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is priced at $649, significantly less than its competitor, the Apple Watch Ultra 2. It comes in three sleek colors: Titanium Grey, Silver, and White. Pre-orders begin today, with the official release on July 24, 2024.
