Adidas x Song For The Mute Supernova Rise Sneaker

Adidas has teamed up with Australian label Song for the Mute to give the Supernova Rise 3 a much more expressive identity. The collaboration keeps the shoe’s running-focused foundation but adds the label’s hand-drawn graphics, custom branding, and a muted Trace Olive, Carbon, and Clay palette that pushes it well beyond standard performance footwear.

Underneath, the Supernova Rise 3 remains built for everyday miles. DREAMSTRIKE+ superfoam provides soft, stable cushioning, while the LIGHTTRAXION outsole uses rubber only where it is needed to maintain grip without adding unnecessary weight. The shoe is neutral and uses a 7mm drop.

The upper uses adidas’ PRIMEWEAVE construction with a traditional lace closure, while bespoke insoles, a branded tab, and Song for the Mute’s handwritten detailing give the sneaker its collaborative finish. The result feels less like a straightforward running shoe and more like a fashion-forward interpretation that still keeps its technical purpose intact.

Style code KI5185 is currently listed at €150, with availability varying by retailer. For anyone who likes performance sneakers with a more unconventional edge, this version of the Supernova Rise 3 brings together adidas running technology and Song for the Mute’s deliberately imperfect design language.
