Meta ditches the camera but keeps the smart glasses part. Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses put music, calls, and voice assistance into a lighter frame built around everyday listening. Announced at Meta Connect 2026, the camera-free design weighs just 43 grams and introduces two familiar Ray-Ban shapes to the lineup: Clubmaster and Burbank.
Open-ear speakers let you listen to playlists and podcasts while keeping your ears uncovered. You can take calls and speak with an AI assistant hands-free, making the glasses useful when walking, commuting, or handling small tasks without pulling out your phone. Removing the camera also gives this model a clear purpose: wearable audio and voice interaction in a frame you might already wear.
Fit gets particular attention. Professionally adjustable temple tips, adjustable or swappable nose pads, and overextension hinges offer several ways to tailor the frames. Both styles support a wide range of prescriptions, with 23 color and lens combinations available across the collection.
Meta quotes up to 12 hours of use per charge, with the included charging case providing up to 48 additional hours. That gives the Audio model a practical selling point alongside its slimmer proportions, although actual endurance will depend on use. Preorders start at $349, with shipping scheduled for October 13, 2026.
