AETHER Alpine Shell
The Alpine is a mountain shell meant for a day spent making turns. Whether you’re drawn to the backcountry or prefer a ski lift, this is the jacket to get you through the season. The 3-layer plain-weave fabric adjusts its level of heat retention and breathability to the conditions, meaning it retains heat during times of inactivity and allows it to escape when the skiing or riding gets serious. Basically, you’ll be warm whether you’re going up or down the mountain. The Alpine Shell is also seam sealed, waterproof, wind resistant, and breathable. The removable snow skirt can be worn on a powder day and removed when conditions are mild.
