Vagabund BMW R80RT

One of our favorite custom motorbikes ever, is the spectacular BMW R100R by Vagabond Moto. Today we showcase another work of art by the Austrian duo, designer Paul Brauchart and mechanical engineer Philipp Rabl - a 1990 BMW R80RT they call "Vagabund V05”. Vagabund´s inspiration for almost every project is to build very clean and minimalistic bikes which are nice to ride and are still legal for road use. In the case of this R80RT build, the main focal point was to combine a kind of futuristic-yet-vintage design theme that included both some classic, handcrafted aluminium parts and some modern details like the yellow and grey wheel rim, and a industrially inspired paint scheme that ties everything together beautifully.
