Slate Electric Truck

The Slate Electric Truck might just be what the EV market has been missing, a back-to-basics, no-nonsense pickup that blends modular design with real-world practicality, all for under $20,000 (after federal incentives). Built in the U.S. and sold direct-to-consumer, the Slate is engineered for affordability without cutting corners on safety or utility.

This minimalist EV offers two battery options: a 52.7kWh pack with 150 miles of range or an 84.3kWh pack for up to 240 miles. It is powered by a single rear motor delivering 201 horsepower and can fast charge from 20a€“80% in under 30 minutes via a NACS port.

But Slate's real magic is in its flexibility. With over 100 available accessories and an optional flat-pack SUV conversion kit, owners can transform the truck into a five-seater with ease. There is no infotainment screen, just a universal phone mount and USB ports, keeping things simple and affordable. You can even wrap it in new colors whenever the mood strikes.

Slate isn't just building a truck, they are building a platform for personalized, accessible EV ownership. Reservations are open now for just $50.
