PVS Urnieta Suzuki Jimny Off-Road Build
PVS Automotive has expanded its Suzuki Jimny lineup with Urnieta’s new modification program for the JB74 three-door and JC74 five-door. Rather than treating the Jimny as a platform for unrelated accessories, the range is organized around two complete design directions: Salado, aimed at modern overland builds, and 1970, a heritage-focused series inspired by the original Suzuki LJ.
Salado is the more comprehensive of the two, with exterior protection, storage, interior controls, wheels, and performance upgrades designed around a consistent modern off-road aesthetic. The catalog includes structural front and rear bumpers, a snorkel, roof rack, rock sliders, side-window storage, extended spare tire cover, and a full set of cockpit upgrades including a roof console, multifunction dashboard, instrument cluster face, and dedicated steering wheel. Wheels and a quad-tip exhaust complete the package.
The 1970 series takes the opposite approach. Its squared shoulders, exposed hardware, flush surfaces, and simplified proportions reference early Suzuki LJ models, creating a Jimny that looks more period-correct than heavily modified. The focused body kit includes its own hood, grille, front and rear bumpers, side skirts, gullwing windows, spare tire cover, and matching wheels, with parts designed to work together as one coherent heritage look.
PVS is now offering the Urnieta Jimny range in Australia, giving owners the option to build the vehicle piece by piece or pursue one of the complete visual directions. It follows the same formula seen on the company’s Urnieta-equipped Land Cruiser builds: functional off-road hardware integrated with a level of detail that makes the finished vehicle feel considered rather than simply accessorized.
