Marsien GT Supercar
Marc Philipp Gemballa is taking the Marsien back to the road. Following the original all-terrain Marsien, whose 40-car production run quickly sold out, the new Marsien GT transforms the same Porsche 992 Turbo S foundation into a more focused grand tourer. Just 30 will be built, bringing total Marsien production to 70 cars in tribute to Uwe Gemballa’s 70th anniversary.
This is far more than a lowered version of the original. Around 1,500 components have been newly engineered, while the exterior uses more than 100 carbon-fibre parts. Active front-fender louvres, an active rear wing, roof scoop, enlarged intakes, and a full carbon underbody sharpen the aerodynamics, while the extensive use of carbon cuts roughly 75kg compared with a standard 992 Turbo S.
RUF upgrades the twin-turbo flat-six to more than 830 hp and 930Nm of torque, with a second-stage package exceeding 900 hp already in development. Performance is quoted at 0–100km/h in 2.4 seconds and 330km/h flat out. A bespoke KW double-wishbone suspension with electronically controlled DDC V5 dampers keeps the GT firmly road-focused, while a 60mm front lift adds some everyday usability.
