Jaguar E-Type Project

The Jaguar E-Type was once considered by Enzo Ferrari "the most beautiful car ever made," and we are inclined to agree. This unique opportunity lets you get your hands dirty and refurbish one of these iconic machines. The 1972 Jaguar XKE Series III roadster seen here is a rolling project that was acquired in 2011 by the current owner and has since been partially refurbished. The fine specimen has already been partially torn down, with a plethora of parts already removed. The body was stripped to bare metal and received a two-stage repaint in a gorgeous Opalescent Gunmetal Grey, and it had an overhaul of the suspension, and installation of Wilwood front disc brakes. A five-speed manual transmission along with a Jaguar four-speed manual transmission are also included in the sale, as are a 7.3-liter V12 short block engine, a body-color hardtop, 15-inch wire wheels, aftermarket 17-inch wheels, and more as outlined on a parts list in the unique listing at Bring a Trailer.
