Elegend EL1

German EV Startup Elegend is paying tribute to one of the most coveted Group B cars of all time, the iconic Audi Quattro. The legendary Quattro rally car, which dominated Group B rallying in the 1980s, is now reborn as the EL1, a stunning combination of retro design with modern technology. The high-performance super sports car is equipped with an all-wheel-drive electric powertrain making 805 horsepower (600 kilowatts), and is capable of zero to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, and a 249-mile range from a 90.0-kWh battery. A carbon monocoque keeps it all lightweight, coming in at a little over 3700 lbs. The supercar, which is limited to just 30 units, is planned for early 2022 with additional models to follow.
