Charge Electric Ford Mustang

British startup Charge Cars is taking the first generation Ford Mustang and turning it into a electric powered monster! The sleek-looking beast uses officially licensed shells of both Fastback and Convertible 1960s Mustangs and is powered by an impressive 536-hp (400-kW) electric powertrain spinning all four wheels to 60 miles per hour reportedly in under 4 seconds, and with a top speed of around 149 mph. Its 64-kWh battery provides a range around 200 miles (322 km), and it can accept 50-kW DC fast charging. The interior appears to have been inspired by Tesla´s Model S interior with the large vertical screen. The limited edition all-black e-muscle car has a limited-run of 499 convertible and coupe ponies. The beauty will make its debut at next month´s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
