Ares X-Raid SUV

Based in Modena, Italy, the historical home of sports car excellence, Ares Design is a modern coach builder founded in 2014 by Dany Bahar, the former boss of Lotus. The first of the company’s products is this modified G-Wagen, dubbed the Ares X-Raid, a 760HP beast with a bespoke composite body. Based on the Mercedes G63, the car comes complete with a tuned 760 horsepower, 5.5-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine, and features a body made from carbon, along with aluminium, to shed a significant amount of weight (440lbs) over a standard G63.  Top speed is rated at 155mph (250km/h). Inside there is a redesigned dashboard with a more luxurious look and feel, single VIP seats at the back, and everything is covered with high-end materials, including Nappa leather and lots of carbon fiber trim.
