2021 Ford Explorer Timberline
Ford has just added a more rugged off-road-ready version of their popular Ford explorer SUV. The all-new 2021 Ford Explorer Timberline promises more off-road ability for memorable weekend adventures with family and friends. The beastly SUV has an increase in ground clearance of 8.7 inches and an improved approach angle of 23.5 degrees and a departure angle of 23.7 degrees. It also comes with Ford´s intelligent four-wheel drive and a Torsen limited-slip differential in back, while the Terrain Management System features seven different drive modes. There are also heavy-duty shocks along with the Bridgestone Dueler P265/65R-18 all-terrain tires, plus standard steel skid plates, extended underbody protection, special calibration for the steering, along with tuning for the stabilizer bars and springs. It comes in a new color, called Forged Green Metallic, with blackout accents, Red Ember tow hooks, high-gloss black aluminum wheels, LED fog lamps, a dark Carbonized GRay grille with auxiliary lights. The 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is standard, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. That delivers 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. watch the video below
