1966 Icon Old School Bronco

Icon 4x4 is a Californian builder known for their custom jeeps and trucks, their builds are so popular there is a 2-year waiting list for their bespoke early Broncos. The Bring a Trailer auction that ends this Friday, March 15, is an opportunity to jump the cue and get your hands on this spectacular Old School BR #66. Developed together with California-based design firm, Autotype, this 1966 Ford Bronco kept its original character, but was re-engineered with modern performance and reliability. Finished in glossy orange under a creme white removable hardtop, the ICON Old School edition includes classic-style bumpers, headlight surrounds, door handles, and side view mirrors. Driver and passenger entry is assisted with illuminated AMP Research PowerSteps. The 18-inch wheels were CNC-machined from forged aluminum and are fitted with classic-style hubcaps. They are wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The gorgeous vintage interior successfully marries a number of aesthetically reengineered details with a timeless, attractive look. Power comes from a 426-HP Ford 5.0L Coyote V-8 crate motor mated to an AX-15 5-speed manual transmission.

10% of proceeds set to benefit the Autotype Scholarship Fund, which aids students currently enrolled in design school.
