TroVico Smart Sneaker Washing Machine
TroVico is a dedicated washing machine built specifically for sneakers, replacing hand scrubbing with an enclosed rotating cleaning system. Inside, 14 brushes surround the footwear to reach the sides, soles, and tongue while the drum rotates, giving the machine a more targeted approach than simply throwing shoes into a conventional washer.
A touchscreen provides access to several cleaning programs depending on how much attention a pair needs. The quickest cycle takes around 30 minutes, while longer Standard and Soak modes extend from roughly 40 to 90 minutes. The system also incorporates UVC treatment during cleaning and an automatic drain function on its longest program.
Safety is handled with a lid sensor that stops rotation when the machine is opened. The enclosed drum design is intended to clean from multiple directions while reducing the kind of aggressive tumbling shoes can experience inside a full-size laundry machine. That makes TroVico particularly appealing for sneakers and everyday footwear that regularly pick up mud, dust, and street grime.
TroVico is currently being funded through Kickstarter, where the campaign has already exceeded its original funding goal. As with any crowdfunding project, final specifications and delivery timing can still change before production, but the concept is straightforward: a compact appliance dedicated entirely to taking the repetitive hand work out of cleaning sneakers.
