Adidas GMR Insole

After several weeks of teasing, Adidas has officially launched its new GMR project with Jacquard by Google. Gamified through EA Sports FIFA Mobile, the adidas GMR creates a brand-new category of football innovation that enables players to impact virtual performance with real-world play. The small tag can be placed inside an insole in the football boot, which then records various performance stats from the wearer including their kicks, shot power, distance and speed. This data is then passed from the GMR onto EA´s FIFA Mobile game, which will offer unique challenges and milestones to hit each week.
