Leica M6
The legendary Leica M6 returns, combining classic style with modern features. The iconic Leica M6 is a classic. Its intuitive, small, and compact design lets you get near to the action and to genuine feelings. Many of the top photographers in the world have used it to produce countless famous photographs since it was introduced in 1984. The modern Leica M6, which is still built by hand in Germany, is a very dependable travel companion for anyone who values the conscious experience of analog photography.
The Leica M6 from 2022 relies on a modern version of the Leica M rangefinder with a 0.72x magnification, and still has only 1/1000th max shutter speed, and there is still a fully mechanical shutter. Additionally, all of its optical surfaces have coatings on them now, making them less susceptible to stray light. In addition to the two arrow symbols that were previously used, the light meter in the most recent M6 now displays the proper exposure as a red dot. Additionally, a battery warning indication is included. Another change is to the top cover, which is now machined from solid brass and reinforced with an abrasion-resistant black lacquer instead of the previous models diecast zinc material.
