Shell Chair | By Hans J Wegner

Danish designer Hans J. Wegner created this stunning 3 legged chair for Carl Hansen & Son in 1963. Sometimes called "The Smiling Chair", the three-legged construction provides absolute stability; the chair achieves a floating lightness due to its wing-like seat and the arching curves of its tapered legs. This comfortable masterpiece is a marvel of grace and beauty.
