Tinyleaf Cabin

The Tinyleaf Cabin in Mazama, Washington's Methow Valley, is a compact outpost designed by GOC Studio for outdoor enthusiasts. This 15 by 22 cabin blends seamlessly into a steep hillside, offering direct access to mountain biking and cross-country skiing.

The cabin features a south-facing facade with large sliding glass doors, a flat roof that doubles as a deck, and cast-in-place concrete walls that merge with the natural landscape. The exterior materials, including steel cladding and concrete, age gracefully, blending with the surroundings.

Inside, the efficient design includes a small kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom with clever storage solutions. A raised bed with hidden storage, multifunctional wall panels, and a cozy bookcase nook optimize space. Natural light streams through large windows and a linear skylight, creating a warm atmosphere.

Tinyleaf Cabin, designed for year-round recreation, serves as an ideal retreat for those seeking adventure and tranquility in the heart of the Methow Valley.
