Cinder Cone Treehouse
Ever had the dream of building a tree house? Well this group of friends did, and what an awesome one they have built! Named Cinder Cone, the spectacular self-built multi-platform treehouse perches above a skate bowl and wood fired hot tub. Located in a Valley Near the Columbia River Gorge in Skamania Washington, the project was led by Foster Huntington, a professional nomad that has created a brand around his idyllic, transient lifestyle, and whom had a childhood dream of building a Treehouse. Some friends worked as carpenters professionally, others learned on the go, gaining experience along the way, Foster took thousands of photos and kept sketches, models and notes from the design process, and shot a short film that documents the process of building his dream home (watch the video after the jump).
