Snap | Design Your Own Furniture

Snap is an innovative design accessory that enables you to create your own pieces of furniture. How does it work? Well, it´s quite simple, you choose any surface that pleases you, as long as its thickness is between 1-4 cm (0,4 to 1,57 inch.), and attach the Snap system around it to give it stability. Snap is strong and can withhold weights of up to 98kg (154 LB). It has two height options, 35 cm (14 inch.) or 45 cm (17 inch.), you can even combine them to make shelves. Snap offers 16 different color combinations, 4 for the steel piece and 4 more for the cable. The steel piece has a spring attached to it, to fit it to whatever you want, then you get a cable that works has a safety mechanism, inside there´s a high resistance rope that´s going to ensure Snap´s stability through a tension you build onto the steel piece itself. It sounds complicated but it´s in fact quite simple and ingenious. There is no need for tools or drilling holes in order to use the innovative mechanism, and it is compatible with surfaces of all shapes and sizes. watch the video

A speeder bike, and an X-Wing, and the Millennium Falcon, and a Tie fighter. And yes, they really do fly. The drones can reach speeds up to 40mph and can do 360-degree ae...

OPENHOUSE | BY XTEN ARCHITECTURE

Built by the Xten Architecture studio, the OpenHouse lives up to its name as seen by the pictures. The elegant and beautiful interiors have full visibility to the outside world. The house was built on a challenging site, embedded into a narrow and sharply sloping property in the Hollywood Hills. The front, side and rear elevations of the house slide open to erase all boundaries between indoors and out, connecting the spaces to gardens on both levels....

The unique material has the potential to enhance whatever you cook because of its ability to evenly disperse temperature and preserve moisture, plus you may set it on an open fire (mushikamado style) or in an oven...
