House Aperture

This stunning retreat was designed by Bali-based architect Alexis Dornier. House Aperture is part of the "Uluwatu Surf Villas", a resort dedicated to surf and travel culture situated on the breathtaking western cliffside edge of Uluwatu, Bali. Completely skinned with vertical slatted reclaimed Javanese teak, the 2 bedroom tropical modern villa has ocean and jungle views and features an open air environment with floor to ceiling sliding walls that free the space on all four sides of the structure. There is a top bedroom that offers a panormaic view of the Indian Ocean, a middle floor that serves as the living room, which opens up to a small pool and outside recreational area, and another bedroom that is an intimate stone cladded space, surrounded by tropical green foilage. A spiral staircase connects all floors. The perfect escape for a surf trip.
