Wolbrook JetFlyer Brings Classic Chronograph Design Back

Wolbrook leans into its heritage with the JetFlyer Automatic Chronograph, a watch that blends mid-century tool watch proportions with modern mechanical execution. It takes the brand’s classic Skindiver DNA and pushes it into more complex territory without losing its clarity.

The 38 mm case keeps things compact and wearable, with a slim profile that sits comfortably on the wrist. Despite its vintage sizing, it is built for real use, with a screw-down crown, 100 meter water resistance, and a rotating bezel that adds both dive timing and a secondary time zone function.

If you prefer something more minimal and modern, the Unimatic Modello Tre U3FB ROPS takes a stripped-back approach to tool watch design.

The dial is where the watch really stands out. Everything is designed around legibility, with a clear hierarchy that puts the chronograph functions front and center. The oversized minute counter, balanced subdials, and high-contrast layout make it easy to read at a glance, while subtle details like the tachymeter scale and vintage-inspired lume add depth without clutter.

Inside, it runs on the Jeambrun PS 6402 automatic chronograph movement, a modern column wheel setup with a 55 hour power reserve. It is visible through the caseback, finished with a distinctive pattern that reinforces the watch’s focus on mechanical detail and craftsmanship.

For a closer link to Wolbrook’s heritage, the Wolbrook Skindiver WT Automatic keeps the classic formula in a simpler three-hand format.

This is not trying to compete with oversized, modern chronographs. It takes a different route. Smaller, more focused, and rooted in traditional watchmaking, but updated where it matters. A proper tool watch, just refined enough for everyday wear.
