Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch

Today is a big day for the Omega Speedmaster, as it received a long awaited update. Omega have just announced the 21st century version of the Moonwatch, replacing the cal. 1861 Moonwatch, after five decades. The iconic watch now features an asymmetrical 42mm case, and comes in stainless steel with a bracelet or nylon strap, with a choice of sapphire or hesalite glass. On the higher end of the spectrum, Omega is offering a model in 18K Sedna red gold or 18K Canopus white gold, both of which come on a matching bracelet. Each model is driven by the Omega 3861 manual-winding chronograph movement with Co-Axial escapement, a power reserve of 50 hours and 50-meter water resistance.
