Citizen Promaster Aqualand 40th Anniversary

To celebrate 40 years of innovation, Citizen has unveiled the Promaster Aqualand 40th Anniversary Limited Edition, a striking tribute to the iconic 1985 original, the first dive watch with an electronic depth meter. Limited to just 5,800 pieces worldwide, this special edition blends vintage aesthetics with updated performance.

The Aqualand 40th sports a bold 50.7mm stainless steel case with a matte grey brushed finish, accented by elegant gold touches on the bezel, crown, and pushers. At 9 o'clock, the signature depth sensor proudly protrudes, staying true to the original design. The black sunray dial features gold-accented hands and indices, with a digital display for calendar, chronograph, alarm, and dive tracking.

Engineered for real diving, the watch includes a depth gauge, dive time tracker, and ascent rate alarm to enhance underwater safety. It is water-resistant to 200 meters and comes on a sustainable BENEBiOL plant-based polyurethane strap, with an extension for wetsuit use.

With both analog and digital functions, the Promaster Aqualand 40th balances retro charm and modern tech. It is an ideal collector's piece, or a go-to tool watch for divers and adventurers alike. At $595, it offers standout functionality with a nostalgic design punch.
