ON Cloudsoma PAF

On and POST ARCHIVE FACTION close out their six-season partnership with the Cloudsoma PAF, a trail-focused sneaker that pushes On’s performance language in a more experimental direction. Part of the final Current Form 5.0 collection, the shoe takes inspiration from mountain rock formations, changing terrain, and the movement of runners through natural landscapes.

The upper uses quick-drying, high-abrasion materials shaped with flowing panels and organic line work. An asymmetrical lacing system gives the shoe its most distinctive visual cue, while the overall construction keeps the technical character of the original Cloudsoma underneath the more conceptual PAF treatment.

The Cloudsoma PAF is offered in three colorways: Cobble/Raven, Black/Black, and Haze/Linen. Despite the unconventional detailing, the darker versions remain relatively easy to wear, balancing the collaboration’s fashion-driven approach with a silhouette still designed for running.

To mark the end of the partnership, On and PAF also worked with South African land artist Strijdom van der Merwe on a permanent circular stone trail installation in Tenerife. The Cloudsoma PAF and Current Form 5.0 collection launch globally on September 3, 2026 through On, POST ARCHIVE FACTION, and selected retailers.
