The New Balance MTG580 have their design reference from classic military jackets, they are inspired by the MA-1 flight jacket. Apart from the inner-lining, the whole shoe is crafted from water-repellent Gore-Tex as well as a tough nylon fabric, so they’re  ready for some hard wearing come rain or shine. They should be on the market by July 2010.
