Steve McQueen´s legendary folding Persol sunglasses just got a cool update for 2021! First introduced in the 1960s, the iconic 714 shades were made famous by the himself, Steve McQueen, who wore them in the 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair. Now the Italian luxury eyewear maker just launched the 714SM Steve McQueen Special Edition series, a collection that consists of five colors including one Havana model equipped with lenses that have been plated with actual platinum. All models come equipped with signature hinges on the nose bridge and temples to allow it them to fold into a more compact shape for travel.
